1. The Vidyalaya is a single shift school starting at 7:50 a.m. during summers and 8:20 a.m. during winters. The academic session is from April to March every year.
   
2. Any kind of Development Fee, Building Fee or so called “DONATION” is never charged, collected and accepted in this Vidyalaya.
   
3. Members of the staff are not permitted to take private tuitions. Remedial teaching is done to the educationally backward children after the regular School hours.
   
4. The education in the Vidyalaya is not “Examination and Information” oriented but “Learning and Character building” oriented. In the words of swami Vivekanand education for ‘Man-making and Nation-building’ is given in the Vidyalaya. Moreover, the Vidyalaya strives to create love for the nation and International understanding amongst the students.
   
5. The Vidyalaya’s priorities regarding the students have been summarized in the students slogans which are:
   1. We shall keep our selves healthy
   2. We shall study profoundly
   3. We shall be at sound character and
   4. We shall keep our school Neat, Clean and Green
   
6. Child-centered education is imparted by using latest scientific and modern methods of teaching and using modern equipments.
   
7. As we focus on the overall development of a child's personality, the three D's: Dress, Drill and Discipline are of utmost importance in the Vidyalaya.
   
8. The Training in Scouting and Guiding is also given to the students to inculcate the virtues like truthfulness, patriotism and service to the needy.
   
9. A balance in Curricular, Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular activities is maintained.
   
10. The Vidyalaya imparts quality education indiscriminately to all so that the society may get the best out of every individual.
    
11. To monitor the health and physical fitness of students, Medical Checkup is done twice a year by Vidyalaya Medical officer and medical card of each student is maintained.
    
12. Parent-Teacher meetings are organized on every Saturday to maintain a healthy interaction between parents and teachers.
    
13. The Vidyalaya has earned a name and fame for having a systematic approach and honest dealings. There is never any ambiguity in any matter and all rule and regulations are clear and well explained.
